Raffles Covers RLC8070straight – protection for compact lounge chairs
The RLC8070straight is a rectangular cover measuring 80 × 70 H: 75 cm, specially designed for smaller lounge chairs. With its tailored fit, no extra allowance is needed. The cover fits snugly and stays securely in place without flapping in the wind. Leave 2–15 cm clearance from the ground for optimal air circulation and reduced condensation. This keeps your furniture clean, dry and well protected all year round.
Premium protection, season after season
The Raffles Covers RLC8070straight provides reliable protection against rain, sun, frost and dirt. Made from durable 600D Solution Dyed Oxford Polyester with a PU coating, the fabric is waterproof and UV resistant. Double-stitched seams are sealed with PU tape for splash resistance. Airvents at the sides allow ventilation, helping to prevent condensation, mould and corrosion. The material is also PFAS-free and remains quiet, even in strong winds.
Stylish taupe colour
The soft taupe colour is timeless and neutral, blending beautifully into any garden setting. Taupe pairs elegantly with wood, wicker and stone, and maintains a warm, natural look even in winter. Thanks to the Solution Dyed colouring process, the fabric remains colourfast and UV-stable over time. Dirt and dust are less visible than on darker covers, keeping your garden looking neat and tidy.
Use & fastening
The cover is easy to secure with the elastic drawstring and stopper combined with Click-Close straps. This ensures a stable fit, even in windy conditions. For extra reinforcement in exposed areas, add clamps (RCLIP6) as anchor points, bungee cords (RHook6) or sandbags (RSBAG) for additional weight and stability. This combination prevents lifting and flapping, even during storms.
Water Shedding Cushion – prevents water pooling
Heavy rain can cause water to collect on the cover. To prevent this, the RLC8070straight includes a free Water Shedding Cushion. This inflatable cushion is placed on the seat to elevate the surface, allowing rainwater to run off easily. It keeps your furniture dry and extends the lifespan of the cover.
Cushions under the cover
During summer, cushions can usually remain under the cover. Check occasionally for moisture and allow ventilation on dry days. In autumn and winter, we recommend storing cushions indoors to prevent mould growth.
