This Raffles Covers protective cover has been specially designed for freestanding BBQs such as camping BBQs, flatbed grills and mobile barbecues with legs or a stand. Thanks to its relatively tall shape, it covers not only the grilling area but also the lower section, including legs and wheels.
The cover is suitable for various compact and rectangular BBQ models without side shelves. As barbecues often have protruding parts such as knobs, handles, hinges or edges, it is important to allow enough clearance at all times. This helps prevent tension on the fabric and ensures a proper, secure fit.
Material & protection
This BBQ cover is made from strong 600D Oxford polyester and is designed for intensive outdoor use. The material is hard-wearing, colourfast and finished with a breathable, water-repellent TPU coating on the inside. The double-stitched seams are sealed with PU tape, helping to provide reliable protection against rain and dirt. Thanks to the air vents, condensation is reduced and mould is less likely to form. In addition, the cover is UV-resistant, winter-hardy, quiet in the wind and produced without PFAS.
Fit & ease of use
The cover has been developed for freestanding flat BBQs and compact grills with a base. Its generous height means that lower parts of the barbecue remain well protected too. For the best fit, Raffles Covers recommends allowing around 5 cm of clearance around protruding parts at all times. This helps prevent damage to the cover and makes fitting easier. The cover is equipped with an elastic drawstring with stopper and a click-close strap, so it stays in place more securely in windy conditions. Sturdy handles and a spacious storage bag provide added convenience.
