• as a material is 100% waterproof, yet breathable
• is UV- and frost-resistant and therefore suitable for all seasons
• is solution dyed, ensuring long-lasting colour fastness

The double-stitched seams are finished on the inside with PU tape. This makes them extra strong and splashproof, which extends the lifespan of both cover and parasol.

Breathable material against condensation, mould and mildew

The Raffles Covers fabric is breathable, allowing moist air to escape more easily. This reduces the risk of condensation, mould and mildew on a closed parasol, where moisture would otherwise quickly become trapped.

Please note: with large temperature differences some condensation can always occur; the breathable material helps to minimise this as much as possible and provides better protection against rust and deposits.

Practical design with pole, heavy-duty zip & drawcord

The covers are designed for daily, practical use. There is no need to climb onto a step or chair:

• a supplied pole simply slides into the hem of the cover
• around 15 cm above the bottom edge, between zip and hem, there is a black loop; just below this is the opening for the pole
• with the pole you lift the cover from ground level over the top of the parasol; no ladder is needed
• a heavy-duty quality zip with pull cord opens and closes smoothly from top to bottom
• at the bottom there is an elastic drawcord with stopper, so the cover closes snugly and hardly catches any wind from underneath

Short usage tips for cantilever parasol covers

• Always fold the parasol completely closed and tie it together before fitting the cover.
• Where possible, make sure the canopy is as dry as possible before covering.
• Slide the pole into the hem, insert it into the opening just below the loop and lift the cover from the ground over the parasol.
• Close the zip from top to bottom and tighten the elastic drawcord at the bottom.
