High-quality material for long-lasting protection
Every cover in the RT series is made from robust 600D Premier Solution Dyed Oxford polyester (approx. 230 g/m²), comparable to the material used for quality sports and travel bags. The inside is finished with a water-repellent, breathable TPU coating. This material:
- protects against rain, snow, hail, dirt, green deposits and bird droppings
- is water-repellent and as a fabric is waterproof
- is UV- and frost-resistant, suitable for all seasons
- is solution dyed for long-lasting colour fastness
- is PFAS-free
The double-stitched seams are finished on the inside with PU tape. This makes them extra strong and splashproof, so both cover and table last longer.
Breathable fabric, Airvents & Water Shedding Cushion
The RT fabric is breathable and the covers are equipped with Airvents (ventilation caps) that provide extra air circulation under the cover. This helps to:
- reduce condensation, mould, mildew and musty odours
- allow the tabletop and any cushions left behind to dry more quickly
Almost all models come with a Raffles Water Shedding Cushion (RWSC) included. You place this inflatable cushion under the cover to create a raised dome:
- rainwater runs off the cover instead of pooling on top
- water pockets and extra stress on the fabric and seams are prevented

Sturdy cover that does not flap
This cover is made of sturdy material (fabric) and not plastic. So it does not flap in the wind. The cords on both sides make it easy to pull the cover around the table and keep it in place. Pity there is only 1 strap with clip. It would be nice if all corners were like this, so that you could put them around every table leg. And then also with straps that can be adjusted in length, because this strap is no use anyway on a cross leg that is a bit further in. The inflatable cushion is long enough for a 250x110 table, but rather narrow and could have been a lot less high (the rain would still run off). It now looks like a walrus lying on my table... In terms of watertightness, it seems to be fine, but whether it will still be so after the winter season remains to be seen.

XXL table cover
This is the best made and best looking table (great colour) cover I have seen. Well priced and quick efficient delivery - despite coming from The NL. Very happy with purchase.
