With the RLB series lounge sofa covers from Raffles Covers, you can protect your straight lounge sofa, loveseat, daybed or bistro/balcony set all year round against rain, dirt, green deposits and sunlight. Whether your sofa is on the patio or balcony, under a canopy or free-standing in the garden, this cover will keep your lounge set clean, dry and ready for use at any time.
The RLB series has been developed for rectangular lounge sofas in various depths, from compact models of approx. 130 × 80 cm up to extra-large sofas of 360 × 100/110 cm. There are versions for shallow “small” sofas, standard-depth “straight” models, XL variants for extra deep sofas and “shaped” covers with a sloping cut for sofas with a high back and lower armrests. In many cases, you can leave the cushions under the cover during the summer season (depending on the quality of your cushions), so you have less lifting to do and your lounge area is always ready to enjoy.
High-quality material for 4-season protection
Every cover in the RLB series is made from 600D Solution Dyed Oxford polyester with a breathable, waterproof TPU coating on the inside. This premium fabric has a weight of approx. 230 g/m², is water-repellent, UV- and frost-resistant and, thanks to the solution-dyed fibres, retains its colour for a long time.
The double-stitched seams are taped on the inside with waterproof tape. This makes them extra strong and showerproof, even during prolonged rain or stormy weather. Thanks to the high fabric quality, you visibly extend the service life of your lounge sofa and help prevent rapid discolouration or weather damage.
Breathable and condensation-reducing
An RLB cover is not only strong, but also breathable. The material allows water vapour to pass through to a limited extent, and the integrated Airvents (ventilation openings) provide extra air circulation under the cover. This helps to:
- limit condensation as much as possible
- help prevent mould and mildew on cushions and upholstery
- counteract rust and corrosion on metal parts of your lounge sofa
Includes Water Shedding Cushions (RWSC)
With every RLB cover you receive one or more free Raffles Water Shedding Cushions (RWSC). Depending on the model, this may be, for example, an RWSC8060 for compact sofas or an RWSC16060 for longer lounge sofas. Place the inflatable cushion under the cover to create a high point, so that rainwater runs easily off the cover instead of pooling on the fabric.
Secure, wind-resistant fit
The RLB covers are designed to fit snugly yet practically around your lounge sofa. Some models match the dimensions of the sofa exactly, while others are intentionally cut slightly looser or slightly tighter – this is indicated for each size.
For a secure, wind-resistant attachment, the covers are standard equipped with:
- Elastic drawcord in the hem with stopper(s) for a close-fitting bottom edge
- Click-Close straps that you fasten to a leg or frame to prevent the cover from blowing away
- Sturdy handles for easy fitting and removal
- Spacious storage bag to store the cover neatly when it is not in use
Is your lounge sofa very exposed and windy, for example on a roof terrace or by the water? Then combine the cover with additional accessories such as sandbags (RSBAG), bungee cords (RHOOK), bungee balls or clips (RCLIP), so the cover stays neatly in place even in strong winds.

- Extra-large lounge sofas – up to approx. 320 × 100 cm and 360 × 100 cm
The covers are suitable for lounge sofas made of, among others, wicker, aluminium, steel, plastic or wood, with a standard back height of approx. 75 cm. For sofas with a higher back and lower armrests there are special “shaped” covers with a sloping profile. Some models are also frequently used for bistro sets, balcony sets and daybeds.
Measuring & usage tips for lounge sofa covers
- Always measure your lounge sofa on the outside (total length and depth).
- Ideally choose a cover that is the same size as or just slightly larger than your sofa.
- Place the supplied Water Shedding Cushion(s) under the cover to prevent water pooling.
- Ventilate your lounge sofa regularly in dry weather by temporarily removing the cover.

Good quality
Very nice cover in a beautiful sand colour. With a large inflation cushion for water drainage and an elastic drawstring at the bottom and a strap against blowing away. Really thought of everything. Very happy with it.
