Protect a complete garden furniture set or lounge set beneath one spacious cover with the Raffles Covers RMS series. The cover is designed for long-term storage throughout autumn and winter, allowing your outdoor furniture to remain protected outside when it is not in use.

The cover helps protect against rain, snow, hail, dirt, fallen leaves, bird droppings, algae and other weather-related damage.

Important: Always remove loose seat cushions, back cushions and other fabric items before fitting the cover. Store them indoors in a clean and dry place.

Two-part cover with a mesh groundsheet

The RMS protective cover consists of a strong upper cover and a breathable mesh groundsheet. Place the complete furniture arrangement on the groundsheet and connect both sections using the zip around the full perimeter.

The weight of the furniture keeps the groundsheet in place. This also helps stabilise the upper cover and reduces the risk of it lifting in windy conditions.

Strong, waterproof and breathable

The upper cover is made from durable 600D Solution Dyed Oxford polyester with a fabric weight of approximately 230 g/m². The fabric is hard-wearing, UV-resistant, frost-resistant, colourfast and PFAS-free.

The inside has a waterproof and breathable TPU coating. The seams are double stitched and finished on the inside with PU tape for additional splash-water protection.

Ventilation to reduce damp and condensation

The mesh groundsheet allows air to enter beneath the cover. Integrated air vents support airflow and help damp air escape.

This combination helps reduce condensation, mould, mildew and musty odours. Cover clean and dry furniture wherever possible and allow the arrangement to air occasionally during prolonged damp weather.

Choose a generous fit

The cover should fit loosely around the complete garden furniture or lounge set. It is better to choose a slightly larger size than a cover that sits tightly against the furniture.

A generous fit improves airflow and reduces strain on the fabric, seams and zip. Measure the full length, width and height before ordering, including projecting backrests, armrests and table tops.

Create suitable water run-off

Where possible, position the backrests of chairs and sofas together near the centre of the arrangement. This creates a raised point beneath the cover so rainwater can run towards the outer edges.

During prolonged rainfall, check that water is not collecting on the cover. Remove accumulated snow during winter as well.

How to use the RMS protective cover

1. Clean the garden furniture and allow it to dry completely.
2. Remove all loose cushions and store them indoors.
3. Arrange the furniture in a compact group.
4. Position the backrests together for improved water run-off.
5. Place the complete arrangement on the mesh groundsheet.
6. Lay the upper cover over the furniture.
7. Connect both sections using the full-perimeter zip.
8. Check that the cover fits loosely and is not under tension.
